About Dump & Park
An independent RV travel directory of dump stations and overnight stops, organized the way you drive: by highway and exit.
Who runs this site
Dump & Park is an independent RV travel directory run by one person. It isn't a company, and it isn't owned by, affiliated with, or paid by any travel center, campground, park, or government agency. Every listing is researched from official public sources, which are linked on its page, and rechecked against them over time.

How listings are verified
- Confirmed: the operator's or agency's own page says it. For example, a Love's or Pilot Flying J store page that lists an RV dump, or a TxDOT page for a rest area.
- Reported: only community map data (OpenStreetMap) shows it. These listings carry a "Dump reported" badge and a note to confirm before you rely on them.
- Propane: a refill place is listed only when the operator's page (for example U-Haul) or the U.S. Department of Energy's propane station locator lists it. We say it fills RV tanks only when the operator says so, and we don't post prices because they change often.
- We never guess hours, fees, or rules. If a source doesn't say, the listing says "unknown, call ahead."
- We don't copy other RV directories or apps.
Data sources & credits
- Official operator pages: Love's (loves.com) and Pilot Flying J (pilotcompany.com) store pages.
- State agency pages: TxDOT's safety rest area list and rest area details, Texas Parks and Wildlife park pages, and the Texas Transportation Code for rest-area time limits.
- Propane: U-Haul location pages (uhaul.com), Love's store pages, and the U.S. Department of Energy's Alternative Fuels Data Center station locator (public data from the U.S. government).
- OpenStreetMap: map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Map tiles are also © OpenStreetMap contributors.
- Maps are drawn with Leaflet (BSD 2-Clause license). The illustration and icons are original to this site.
Every station page lists its own sources. Right now the Texas I-10 route has 30 stops: 27 confirmed from operator or agency pages, and 3 with a community-reported dump station. It also lists 2 propane refill places that are not truck stops.
"Last checked" policy
- Every listing shows the month it was last checked against its sources.
- When we recheck a listing, we update that date and change anything the sources no longer say.
- The oldest listings get rechecked first. If a source page disappears or stops confirming a stop, we mark it or remove it.
- Know about a change? Report a correction.
